I began working for Scholl Footcare until 2003 when I left to set up a private practice in the heart of Newcastle city centre.

My belief is that the patients needs are of the up most importance and I am committed to meeting your needs in a caring, professional and friendly manner. I work closely with other HCPC healthcare professional to whom I can refer you to should the need arise.

A high percentage of my business is from repeat business or referrals from existing patients. I currently treat many sons, daughters and even grandchildren from some of my original patients after first qualifying.

I am registered with the HCPC- health care professionals council. All chiropodist/podiatrists must be registered with the HCPC. This ensures all registrant's adhere to a professional standard of care deemed appropriate by the council. For more information please visit hpc-uk.org

Are Chiropodists and Podiatrists exactly the same?

Yes. Podiatry is a universally recognised name for the profession.

The profession of podiatry has developed from its origins in chiropody to become a medical speciality dealing with assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the lower limb. (The Society of Chiropodists &Podiatrists 2002).
